Escape Room or Scavenger Hunt?

Escape Rooms

In our escape rooms, you and up to 7 people dive into another world for 60 minutes. You have to solve puzzles, prove your teamwork, master tasks and bring the story to a happy ending. Many challenges await you along the way. You will have to trigger mechanisms, perform magical rituals, find secret doors and follow in the footsteps of ancient explorers.

There are four escape rooms aboard the Cap San Diego: The Golden Skull, The Forbidden Game and 2x The Master of Time.

Aboard the Rickmer Rickmers you will find the rooms: Neptune’s Curse and Captain Overboard.

Scavenger Hunts

During our scavenger hunts, you play a treasure hunt with 4 to 7 people per group aboard the Rickmer Rickmers (The Sailors’ Last Exam) or with 2 to 7 people per group aboard the Cap San Diego (The Forgotten Treasure). If your group is larger, you can easily split into several groups and play against each other. Aboard the Cap San Diego this is possible with 6 groups in parallel (i.e. up to 42 people), while aboard the Rickmer Rickmers you can play with 4 groups in parallel (i.e. up to 28 people). Many tricky tasks with escape-game character await you – both below and on deck (so you should wear weather-appropriate clothing). You set off entirely on your own – but can get help from our game masters at any time.

The scavenger hunts last about 1.5 – 2 hrs and can be started at different times. Just take a look at our booking calendar.

How it works

At the start you will be welcomed by our game masters. After you have locked away your belongings, you will be introduced to how the game works. Then you set off right away and your adventure begins. From this point on, you and your group are on your own.

You should plan about one hour for an escape room. The scavenger hunt can sometimes take a little longer.

We played The Forbidden Game yesterday and had a lot of fun. Super cool puzzles and, above all, very varied. I also really liked the antechamber where you can warm up with a quiz beforehand. Everything top notch – thanks for the evening!
