Escape room or scavenger hunt?
Escape Rooms
In our escape rooms you and up to 8 people step into another world for 50 to 70 minutes. You have to solve puzzles, show teamwork, master tasks and bring the story to a good end. Plenty of challenges wait along the way: you will trigger mechanisms, perform magical rituals, find hidden doors and follow the trail of old explorers. There are four escape rooms aboard the Cap San Diego: Golden Skull, Forbidden Game and 2x Master of Time. Aboard the Rickmer Rickmers you will find the rooms Neptune’s Curse and Captain Overboard.

Scavenger hunts
On our scavenger hunts you play in groups of 4 to 7 aboard the Rickmer Rickmers (Sailors’ Last Exam) or in groups of 2 to 7 aboard the Cap San Diego (Forgotten Treasure). If your group is larger, you can simply split into several teams and play against each other. Aboard the Cap San Diego that works with 6 teams at once (up to 48 people), aboard the Rickmer Rickmers with 4 teams (up to 28 people). Plenty of tricky, escape-game-style tasks await you – both below deck and on deck. You set off entirely on your own, but you can ask our game masters for help at any time. A scavenger hunt takes about 1.5 to 2 hours.

How it works
To begin with, our game masters welcome you. Once you have locked your things away, they explain how the game works. Then you are off and your adventure begins. From that point on your group is on its own.
Set aside about an hour for an escape room. A scavenger hunt can take a little longer.
CAP SAN DIEGO
Überseebrücke, 20459 Hamburg
Aboard the cargo ship Cap San Diego you will find the rooms Master of Time 1 & 2, Golden Skull and Forbidden Game. The scavenger hunt Forgotten Treasure also starts here.
You reach the ship across the Überseebrücke, which leads straight off the embankment. Baumwall station is a few minutes on foot, served by the U3 and bus 111. Landungsbrücken station is 12 minutes away.
RICKMER RICKMERS
Landungsbrücken, Ponton 1a, 20359 Hamburg
Aboard the sailing ship Rickmer Rickmers you can play Captain Overboard and Neptune’s Curse. The scavenger hunt Sailors’ Last Exam also starts here.
Landungsbrücken station is a few minutes on foot, served by the U3, the S1, S2 and S3 as well as several bus routes.
