Follow in the footsteps of the Maya

The moon hangs high in the sky as you sneak off on your journey through South America towards a long-abandoned excavation site. For years the best researchers searched here for the golden skull of the last Maya ruler – without success. You are in luck: the archaeologists’ huts are still standing. You open one of the rickety wooden doors and step into the dark hut.
You are on your own, and soon you make an astonishing discovery that changes everything – the adventure begins.

With your ticket you can also explore the CAP SAN DIEGO free of charge before or after your game (between 10:00 and 18:00). If you play later in the day, we’ll give you free tickets for the museum.

Get a mysterious machine runningGet a mysterious machine running

For decades, a strange story has been told on the CAP SAN DIEGO.

Somewhere on board a brilliant inventor is said to have lived and worked – a man everyone simply called the „Master of Time“. Shortly before the ship set out on its last great voyage, he vanished without a trace. All that remained was a locked door.

No one has ever been able to open it. And this is exactly where your adventure begins.

Gain access to a secret part of the ship. Discover a place full of hiding spots, adventurous puzzles and hidden traces. And unravel the secret that the Master of Time left behind for us.

With your ticket you can also explore the CAP SAN DIEGO free of charge before or after your game (between 10:00 and 18:00). If you play later in the day, we’ll give you free tickets for the museum.

The Forgotten Treasure

During renovation work, a mysterious old document was found beneath the old planks – one you’ll need to examine closely. It takes you on a journey across the ship, where puzzles have to be solved, your wits put to use and true teamwork proven. Only those who can solve every puzzle are worthy of the treasure.

Take part in a scavenger hunt (PLEASE NOTE: this is a scavenger hunt, not an escape room) on board the entire CAP SAN DIEGO.

Please note: This is NOT an escape room, but a scavenger hunt, played in small teams of 2 to 7 people competing against each other on board the entire ship! In total, up to 42 people can play at the same time. Depending on how thoroughly you explore the ship during the scavenger hunt, you should allow between 80-100 minutes.

For the scavenger hunt you will need a mobile phone.

The scavenger hunt was designed for adults. Children under the age of 14 can only play the scavenger hunt when accompanied by an adult.

The scavenger hunt can only be played in German!

Appease the god of the seas!

Appease the god of the seas!

As a visitor to the famous museum ship in Hamburg’s harbour, you explore a secret room on board that was discovered during the recent restoration. As you enter the room, you notice this strange whispering. Neptune, the god of the sea, is calling for you. He demands his trident, which the captain of the Rickmers stole from him long ago.
The door slams shut, you’re trapped, and Neptune has you completely in his grip. Grant him his wish, or Neptune will drag you and the Rickmers down to the bottom of the Elbe…

This room is aimed at ambitious beginner groups of 6 to 7 people as well as experienced groups of 4 or more. It is not suitable for children’s groups or purely youth groups under the age of 16.

With your ticket you can also explore the RICKMER RICKMERS free of charge before or after your game (between 10:00 and 18:00). If you play later in the day, we’ll give you free tickets for the museum.

Rickmer Rickmers

The classic escape room with combination locks and challenging puzzles

During a voyage in the 1960s, a terrible raid took place on the Rickmer Rickmers. Pirates attacked the ship. The captain tragically lost his life and went overboard. Ever since, his spirit has been unable to find peace and to this day haunts the ship’s captain’s cabin. As specialists in supernatural activity, it’s now up to you to uncover the secret of his story and finally help the captain find his final rest.

A varied escape room with challenging puzzles awaits you. The very special extra: you play in the ship’s original captain’s cabin!

This room is aimed at ambitious beginner groups of 4 to 6 people as well as experienced groups of 3 or more. It is not suitable for purely children’s groups.

With your ticket you can also explore the RICKMER RICKMERS free of charge before or after your game (between 10:00 and 18:00). If you play later in the day, we’ll give you free tickets for the museum.
