What you need for it
Everything you need for the scavenger hunt is handed to you by our game masters on site. You also need at least one mobile phone in the group.

Which adventure suits us best – an escape room or the scavenger hunt?
Aboard the CAP SAN DIEGO we have 3 different escape rooms and the scavenger hunt.
In an escape room you enter a separate area as a family, reserved just for you, and dive into an exciting adventure for 50 to 70 minutes: you solve puzzles together, find hiding places, discover one new area after another and finally bring the story to a good end. An escape room costs 35 euros per person from 5 people.
On the scavenger hunt you go on a treasure hunt as a family team across the whole of the CAP SAN DIEGO and reach areas that other visitors of the CAP SAN DIEGO are not allowed to see. The scavenger hunt is harder than the escape rooms and takes about 90 minutes. The scavenger hunt costs 17 euros per person from 2 people.

All escape rooms on the CAP SAN DIEGO are equally difficult. The scavenger hunt „The Forgotten Treasure“ across the whole CAP SAN DIEGO is harder than the escape rooms.
The escape rooms aboard the RICKMER RICKMERS are not suitable for children or teenagers – not even accompanied by adults.

An unforgettable experience awaits you. For 50 to 70 minutes you dive into an exciting adventure, solving puzzles together, finding hidden things, discovering new areas along the way and finally bringing the story to a good end.

The Forgotten Treasure
During renovation work, a mysterious old document was found beneath the old planks, and it is up to you to examine it closely. It takes you on a journey across the ship, where puzzles must be solved, your wits must be used and true teamwork must be proven. Only those who can solve every puzzle are worthy of the treasure.
The scavenger hunt is not an escape room but a treasure hunt in which you puzzle together as a team. Unlike an escape room, the scavenger hunt takes place across the whole of the CAP SAN DIEGO.
The scavenger hunt is harder than the escape rooms and takes about 80 to 100 minutes.
You need a mobile phone for the scavenger hunt. Before or after your game you can also visit the CAP SAN DIEGO on your own free of charge (between 10:00 and 18:00), and you are welcome to picnic on the pool deck – feel free to bring your own food and drinks.
The scavenger hunt can only be played in German.
